- HUMAN EYES DIARY -

Hi, blogs!

Still on holiday season! Still meeting up with my family (of course), my friends, and my relatives. Such as a tight schedule! There are a lot of people that I need to meet up! Lol. So, yesterday I just met my college friends, Anindia and Angel (Yes, We had traveled together to Pahawang Island in my previous trip) at the new hits restaurant at Jakarta, Mr.Fox. Yasss!!! Before I came back to Jakarta, I've already planned to visit here with them. It's such a must! Just by sawing on Instagram, I already felt that the restaurant had a good ambiance in its interior. Once again, Instagram! Thank you! :))

Located at central business district Jakarta on Ground floor of The energy building SCBD, Mr.Fox is a new restaurant from Ismaya Group which never fail to mesmerize us with the concept of the interior (I came for this!) And... Yasss!! It wasn't disappointed me! Was great to spend our late Christmas dinner here! It's still seasonal!

I'm Mr. Fox! Nice to meet you!

The happiness is when knowing Mr. Fox loves you!

The Setting Table

"I love the combination of the quartz top table and the plates,
How about you?"

Need some liquors?

Okay, guys! In this post, I'll just post some photos and write a few words. Let the photography talks about its ambiance. The photos on above were on the first floor. Let's see what's on the second floor!

Mr. Fox's family?

I guess, Yes...

Enough with the luxury modern interior, guys? 2 days ago was the majestic interior at Kunstkring and yesterday was the luxury modern interior. Hmmm... Where's the new place that I'll go on my next visit? Lol. Honestly, every time I come back to Jakarta, it keeps changing. It always has a new place, new building, or new excitement that I must go when I come back. Am I right or it's just my excuse? Lol.

However... Let's see what's their menu...

Before I met Anin and Angel, I had met with my others college friends too. I already had late lunch with them at Lewis and Caroll (Unfortunately, there were no many pics that I could share) so I was already full. Didn't order many foods, these were what we had...

Prawn Belacan Aglio E Alio Linguine - 125k

"This is so great!
The fettucini is so right and soft and the meat is so juicy!"

Loukoumades - 65k
Black and white Greek doughnuts,
tape fritters, peanut butter fitters, and coffee blossom honey.

"Tape is Tapai. Tape is a traditional fermented food and a rice wine
. For me, the Tape fritters have a special taste. The others are like the ordinary taste, sweet. Honestly, the price isn't affordable for this sweets."

Churros - 65k

"I love the Nutella sauce. Nutella. Who doesn't love Nutella?
Do you think it's affordable?"

Iced Cappuccino - 45k

"Love this Cappuccino!"

Yup, that's it blogs! Unfortunately, because I was already full so I couldn't taste many dishes at Mr.Fox. But, I'm sure I'll come back next time to try the other dishes. I love the ambiance of this restaurant and the main course! After that, I'll add and share that in this post. Hihihi.

So, how I rate Mr. Fox?

I'll give 4.5/5 for the ambiance of its interior design

I'll give 4/5 for the foods

I'll give 4/5 for the affordable price
(not for some sweets. It's for the quality of the main course)

I'll give 4.5/5 for the services. The waitresses were so polite and knowing their foods. I kept asking what's this or what's on it, they explained it one by one patiently and politely. The cook was fast too. The service is great here!

That's my quick review and photography of Mr.Fox. I hope you'll visit here. Because you'll totally in love with this. And... Tomorrow I'll travel to Bali with my best friends and I'll post it too! Please kindly check it out too!

See you in the next post!

Hello, blogs!

Nice to write something that full of joy in this season! And... Before I start it, let me say this, blogs!

Merry Christmas!

May you have a holly jolly Christmas!

May your day is blessed with the bundle of joy!

God bless you and your family, guys! *lovelovefulloflove

This is my kind of pleasure to share my holiday with you! I'm so happy that I can go back to Jakarta, meet my family, my friends, my relatives. It's so nice that I can spend the quality time and share the happiness together! Of course, before my friends and I travel to Bali. Yuhuuuu! I really really love Christmas season and vibes. Besides of celebrating Jesus Christ's birth, sharing the moments and vibes like... "Where are we going to spend our dinner with the beautiful Christmas decoration?" Or like... "Where are we going to have some cakes and a laughter?" I don't know why... Christmas is the best holiday ever for me! Maybe because of the vibes and the decoration is everywhere? I'm happy for every month but December is when I'm happy the most! And you know what... The classic music is so suitable for this month! Lol.

Because of my busy activities in Bandar Lampung, I couldn't plan anything or know the hits place at Jakarta so I give over all the plans to my friends. I'm going to play as a tourist now! Lol. So... Finally, my friend has recommended and appointed Kunstkring as our place to have a Christmas together. Have you heard that? This is my first time too! Located at Menteng, Kunstkring is a historical heritage building which is housed the fine arts of Dutch East Indies originally. Wow! Was opened for the first time in 1914 as a housed of the fine arts and also a cafe, now Kunstkring is a fine restaurant which has a majestic interior without changing the architecture. Hmm... How it looks? How it would be? Let's get inside, guys!

Kunstkring in Dutch means The Art Circle. Oh! Those words are a romance for me. Do you feel the same? The Art Circle... Please, understand this art student. Lol. Anyway... For me, the main entrance is so humble for "The Majestic Architecture".

Or... Maybe not... Hahahaha.

That's how the phrase "Don't judge the book by its cover." works.

Okay... From now on, I'll just share the art of this building by the photos that I took in my perspective.

Bataviasche Kunstkring - The photo on above

The time goes by but the memories remain.

Have you taken any photos today?
Take it now or maybe you'll miss something in the future.

P. s. Pardon, don't shock! That's me who is in the mirror. Lol

The more steps I went in is the more I was admiring this place. The antiqueness... The majestic... It's like I came into 1914 and was in the Dutch party? It felt like that! And...  Moreover, it's Christmas! Yeay!

There's a big painting in the center which take our attention, right? If I see that painting, I think it describes the colonial civilization when Indonesian was civilized and still not in freedom. I'm Indonesian. I was born in 1993 so I didn't experience anything related to the civilization. I just learn it from our historical book. That's it!

Seeing this painting, I remember I've watched a good movie, The Imitation Game. You should watch it, guys! It's so good! I'll share briefly the story. In that movie, the UK has tried to free from Germany's attack. It was in Nazi period in 1941. So, the main character, Alan Turing who is the mathematician joined a team to solve the enigma. And... Finally, he and his team succeed and the UK won the war. Wow! So, it was in 1941... Indonesia was free in 1945... I was born in 1993... So, the difference is around 50 years. It just 2 generations which one of that generation maybe is still alive! So close but the world has already totally changed in 60 years, right?

The Special

"Dung... Durudungdung... Dungdurudundung... Jreng... Jreng..."

"What's that sound?"

"The special one!" Shouted from the other side.

So, there's a unique thing and activity here! If you order the special menu ( I don't know what it is, you should ask the waitress ), then they will sing a Betawi song such as Jali-Jali or etc., dance and serve the dishes at the same time. Interesting, isn't it? I just knew it when I was going home and was fulled. So, I missed the chance to experience it! Hiks! Maybe, next time! Just by watching it, it was so fun!

Celebrate it with wine!

Because they said their wines were good!

Glass of Friendship

Praying for the others. Healthy, Prosperity, Luck, Happiness, and Fortune!

Pardon us! Hahahaa. My friends and I are a rookie for wine. We rarely drink a wine. Hmm... Rare or maybe it's our first time to have it together. Didn't know the manner to have a glass of wine or how to drink it, we were just happy while was drinking it because we were together and doing the exciting thing that we had never tried before. Also in Christmas...!

The one who chose the wine was me! Yasss! They said the village girl should choose something unusual in the big city. Sh****t! Hahaha. So, after comparing the budget and a little of analyzing from the words in the menu, I choose the wine from Italy, Torresella Veneto Merlot IGT! Yasss!! I didn't even know what is the wine that we would get, I just felt the name was so romantic (suits with the vibes) and so gentleman at the same time. Lol! Is it? Hahaha. Forget that, let's cheers and see what we got on the table!

Nasi Lemak Kunstkring - 88k

"This is good, but is it worth? Worth for Christmas season!"

Tjwiemie Malang - 68k

Kway Teow Seafood Balacan - 88 k

"This is so good! You should try it!"

Whiskey Flambe Crepes Zoesete Orange Sauce with Vanilla Ice Cream - 78k

"This is so delicious. A delicate combination!
Totally in love with the whiskey's taste and the orange sauce!"

Meik Wei Meik Wei - 45k

"I order it because of its unique name and the curiosity.
This is good but It will be better if I order something else. Too sour for me."

Virgin Mojito - 45k

"Suits my taste!"

Ah! I would like to say this... All of the waitresses were so kind and polite. They kept asking us if we needed something and were willing to take a "good" photos of us. How they spoke and how they served us was so great and polite. I like it! I was so satisfied with their services. Thank you!

And...

Tik... Tok... Tik... Tok... And... The clock pointed at 10 p. m... We were already been here at 7 p. m. We didn't expect that we would spend such for a long time at here. The place's so comfortable and made you want to stay for a long or maybe until the restaurant close? Lol.

Then... How will I rate Kunstkring?

I'll give 4/5 for their foods and drinks.

4/5 for the affordable prices (the interior is so great!).

5/5 for the services

Okay, guys! I'd love to close this article too! Hope you enjoy and see you in the next post!!

P.s. I'm going to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan in the next 2 days guys! See ya for the adventure!

Warm Regards from Us

"What's the dress code for Christmas?"

"White!"

Merry Christmas, blogs!

What is your creative thought today?
What do you want to do creatively today?
What will you produce today?
And... What will you do for people and Indonesia, blogs?

Hello, blogs! Back to my post!

Today, I want to share some excitement, especially for Lampung people! Yayyy! And coincidentally, this post will be related to my previous post "El's Coffee House" that I shared before on my blog. I've never thought and planned this, who knows this post will support the previous post or the otherwise. So co-working! Lol!

Today, I'm so excited because this is my first time in my life I attend a blogging competition. There's no thought if the writing would have competed too. I know about writing competition, but not blogging competition. This is new! The blogging competition was held by El's Coffee's owner, Elky Riswan at El's Coffee House. The blogging's material is about El's Creative Hub, a new community space which launches and open at the second floor of El's Coffee House. This post will also be interesting because El's Creative Hub is the first community co-working space that Lampung has. And... Luckily, The 34 bloggers and I are the first who are trying this new space! So, I'll share my exclusive experience and review Why you must be here and do your works at here!

What is El's Creative Hub? El's Creative Hub is a place that provides a space for the small or large community to do their works. Why should El's Creative Hub? Honestly, as a blogger sometimes I was stuck and no idea to write something at home, sometimes I need new friend or meet new people to get some inspiration, or sometimes I'd love to discuss with a friend to find the solution. I need the space beside of home. So, actually, El's Creative Hub has answered my wondering uncoincidentally. Lol. Moreover, the location of this creative space is on the second floor above the coffee shop. The coffee shop where I'm falling in love with their Mochatella. Sweet Mochatella and Sweet Red Velvet Cake which will bring more ideas to my works. Lol.

Mochatella
- It always a good idea, when coffee meets blogging time. -

Honestly, In Jakarta I could find many co-working spaces that I could use. But, not in here! It's rare to find the community space at Lampung, except the parks. So, I think El's Creative Hub is the first step to improve Lampung's development and maybe could be the place to solve national economic issues. Who knows?  Trying is better than do nothing, right? :) And now... In Lampung we can use the space for discussion, gathering, and co-working which doesn't lose with the others.

Orange and Blue, Launching Event

El's Creative Hub
- From people, To people, For people -

As what the owner said in Launching event, He said that local people should think creatively to ahead the next Indonesian economic issues. The economic issue is not an easy problem that the common people can solve easily. If we talk about production in big mass or the small one, that's related to the competitive markets which are not easy to earn, even in Indonesia. Am I right? That's why we should think outside of the box, think creatively and find the creative solution which will make us unique.

If I talk about the uniqueness, We as Indonesian people has it! We have nature, culture, and people which will support us to do more. But... The problem is, we don't have the space. The space that will support us, locals. Jakarta has it. The big city has it. And now, it's time to Lampung has it. That's why I think it's a good presence of El's Creative Hub. The hope is, Lampung people can compete for the International market too. That's why I'm really happy when I know the owner of El's Coffee help us to solve this problem! Thank you, Sir Elkana Riswan! :))

So... How is the place? Is it worthy to spend our precious time to be here? What're their facilities? Curious? Let's see blogs!

Welcome to the creative space!

Maybe this is your first step to be success blogs!
You yes you! Or maybe Me?

Community Co-Working Space
Oh, You can bring your friends here and let's discuss!

Discussion Space
- What's your creative solution today? -

Cubicle Space
If you want to be alone and don't want to be disturbed, this space suits you!
I love how they provide 2 electric sockets. Free charge! Lol

Semi-private Meeting Room

If discussion will take a long time, this meeting room suits your community! The comfort space which is facilitated by the cool air conditioner and TV will make the discussion meets the point. Hmm...

Me Time-Space

Feeling stress or can't find the creative solution? Maybe this space that you need, blogs! You can take leisure, read a book, drink a cup of coffee while seeing how beautiful today through the window. :)

Shower Me with Your Inspiration

Even when you are stuck and need some refreshment,
they provide shower to clean your cloudy mind.
You can put your belongings in the locker. It's safe!

Here is my working space for today blogging competition.
So comfy and cozy!

Because of the rush, I couldn't order some coffee to accompany me in this post.
Something feels incomplete!

Location

So, that's it blogs for my experience in this creative community space today! You should try it! You should be here! Be creative people that Indonesia could be proud of. Remember, we are more than that! We are creative local people! And... Hope this media could be a bridge that you are looking for.

And for this holiday season, I hope you have a joy that you always dream of!
See you on the next post blogs!!

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
