Nostalgic?

Nostalgia?

Wikipedia says, it means a sentimentality for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations. Yes, nowadays i'm sentimental for the past. I miss them, but that don't mean i regret and want to come back to the past. I just felt grateful and was happy if i recall the past moments!

So, if i meet my Past Time..
I just want to say, "Hello Past! Thanks for your moments and time! I'm so happy and grateful that you formed and made me like now. I was glad that i met you in the perfect timing of my life. I learnt a lot. Thank you, past!" :))

Hello blogs! Continue a previous trip that i wrote on MIE RAMPOK article, we moved to Pangalengan, Bandung. Yeay!! It's still at Bandung area where is not at the central town, but the other side of Bandung. Pangalengan is nice suburb to have a sweet escape from the busy and crowd city. Maybe i'm tired. Hahaha. My friends and me decided to had a trip at Pangalengan because we wanted to enjoy the view of magnificent tea plantation. The tea plantation is so eye-candy! I gonna share Cukul Tea Plantation's great experience with you on the next post. You'll love it! :)) Anyway.. I found a hidden gem while i was on my way back to home (Jakarta). The hidden gem also saved us from a starve! Thank you Kampung Sawah! Hahaha. Located on Ciwidey, Kampung Sawah is a restaurant that offer a great view and experience like i was eating at the rice field. A fancy rice field! LOL. Not fancy as the looks, the foods are so delicious and affordable! This place is so recommended! Don't trust me? Let's take a look!
A Warm Tea
- Break the ice in the heart with a glass of warm tea-

Kampung Sawah Restaurant

Java Ethnic Restaurant
- Tale as old time -

The Pavilions
- A time when moon drawn by the clouds -

Tik, Tik, Tik, The Sound of Raindrops
- Tik.. Tik.. Tik.. The time had frozen -

It was raining outside. I was so lucky that i could enjoy a beautiful moment, beautiful view, and beautiful place. :)) Heard the sounds of raindrops, i felt the time had frozen. Tik.. Tik.. Tik.. And.. I wish the time could freeze like a magic.

The Pavilions (2)
- I remembered how i was like before, as a 90's generation -

I felt like i entered a time machine. A time that brought me to my memory. I remembered that i saw those pavilions and the architecture on a channel TV while i was child. Yeah i'm a 90's generation. Thought when it was 90, that's how our architecture (Indoneisa) looks like. Time went so fast.. And.. It brought me to the modern time. So, that's how i felt nostalgia. When i was here, it was like i went back to the old time. I was so happy that i could still find this ethnic and tropical architecture at this time. Felt refresh! For this restaurant, they said it's their local architecture. I called it nostalgic architecture. Why?? Because it's difficult to find a space and same senses excatly like a past. It's sentimental! So, it's different for me! Hahaha The pavilions and main building has surrounded the lake. The lake is a center of this restaurant. It was built purposely, so everyone can enjoy all the beautiful views (lake, pavilions, and the green). And.. What i loved is, eating and sitting cross-legged at the same time. :)) So Indonesian!!

The Corridor
- Behind (past), My Spot (present), Out there (future).
As if i went out this place, it meant i face the future. It's like a time machine. Wuu -

The Main Building
- The combination of bamboo and calameae -

The Calameae
- Me against time -

The Calameae
- One is weak, Rife is stronger. Old time friendship -

We ordered that!!
The foods were so tastyyyyyyy!! Guess the price! How much?
Hint : It's so affordable! For 4 persons!  Check the price in the end of this post. LOL

Did i commit a crime? Did i commit a sin?

Why am i here? A world prison. A world that deprives my liberty and will. A world that forces and dictates me to do world's thing systematically. Birth - Grow up - School - Graduate - Go to university - Go date - Marriage - Have a child - Be a fully mother - Grow old - Retired - Die. Why must i follow that order? Would i be discarded by the society if i wasn't do that? Is it a crime? Is it a sin? So why must i be at this 'world prison'? Why? Why? I don't know. I didn't commit a sin and harm anyone, so i'll call my lawyer to set me free. Let's be free as i breath! :))

Anyway after the prologue (lol), i found a real prisoners restaurant in Bandung!! Yeay!! Located on Siliwangi area, this restaurant has a jail concept for the architecture and interior design. The restaurant was designed purposefully to make us feel like a prisoners. A world prisoners HAHAHA. Yeah, mostly innocent people are curious how a prisoners eating area was like. Then , they can try eating at this prisoners restaurant, Mie Rampok. Mie in english means noodle and Rampok means rob. So, this restaurant's name is Rob Noodle? Hahaha

Bandung's Prison
 Steal someone's heart is a sin? Yes! I don't give a permission, so it's a sin. LOL
Steal is still steal

As A Prisoner
- There are 2 types prisoner, someone who is really commiting a crime and
someone who is stucking on unplanned situation.

My Bestie, My Talent, Amelia Pranata
Which prisoner's type she is? LOL

The Cell
- A place where freedom was imprisoned, a freedom to have a hope, a freedom to have a future. -

The Canteen
It's time to eat!!

The Foods
Somehow it's so delicious.. Even we enjoy it in the prison. LOL

A Man Behinds The Cells
- When someone is wondering how the other do their live,
the other one is wondering how that someone lives in the prison. - Family

A Man Behinds The Cells 2

A Cell Behinds A Cell And Behinds a Cell
- Black Pipe Steels as Interior Elements -

2nd Floor Cell
- Each thiefs has stolen their own happiness in the future. -  That back wall said.

I Could See Through The Cells

Police Line? Polusi Line?
I just realize it while i write this blog! The words is not a police line, but polusi line. LOL
Polusi Line means Pollution Line in english. LOL

Extortion Room
Yes! You extorted my curiousity!

Isolation Room
- An anger, an unfair feeling, a pressure.
You thought they will become a better person after they are out?
How will they defeate the time and this cruel world when they're out.? -
Talent, My Bestie, Viendry Bertha! Thank you girl!

The words above was my thought if i was a real prisoner. How their life was.. And the most important thing is how they defeat a time and world when they're out (mostly for the heavy punishment and have nothing in this world) ? It's already hard for me as a normal person. A world that you haven't known like before. Everything goes fast and won't wait for you. A time changing, an advanced technology, a trends, and people thought. Plus the worst thing is when the one who always beside you already gone. Finish! HAHAHA. By chance, yesterday i found an interesting video that related to this topic. A differents between USA prisoners and Norway prisoners's system. It's interesting, so i will share this video with you. Check it out ! :))

Except i got a delicate meals, i realized too that i musn't be a criminals (Yes, i am! Hahaha). I still have a bright hope and future that i must be fight to. And, i still have my precious people that are always trusting and waiting for me. So, i can't give uo. Yeayy!! Anyway.. Mie Rampok is interesting place to get more than a delicate meals. Unique space and also unique meals menu! Try this when you are at Bandung, blogs!! :)) Yohooo

Meals Menu
That level means a spicy level.  A price range is quite cheap. Affordable!

Drinks Menu

The Remission
Please, you must break up with your date at here! You'll get 25% discount! LOL
And.. Eat here with your mistress! You'll get 20% discount! Hahaha
Thought this restaurant is for a love prisoners. Hahahaha

Hi blogs!

Nowadays coffee shop is a trend, especially in Jakarta. That trend has made them compete each other to open the business. The spreading is big and sporadic. Coffee shop become a promising business. Anyway, if you ask me which coffee that i love the most, i couldn't answer that. If the coffee is fragrant and has a good flavor, that's enough for me. The most important is where i enjoy that coffee and get my 'coffee time'. Maybe i'm not a coffe lover like the commons, but  i addicted enough! :)

As a 'uncommon' coffe lover, i want to recommend a place which is good to have a coffee time. Yeah like the title, the coffee shop is Kopi Manyar. Located on Bintaro, Kopi Manyar is famous among this area. It has an open shady simply space which was made me like to be here for a long time. Oh really, i had a great time with my friends!

Are you okay?
- A warm cup of coffee could save someone -

Out of The Box
- Like a bean sprouts plant in the box.
Cover it means let them grow wildly and die. Open the box means let them grow strongly. -

Open Discussion Space
- Sharing stories mean growing a knowledge -

Sharing Room

Different Space
- Different doesn't mean we are not fit in or we don't match.
It just you're an A and I'm a B. That's all. Just make it work together and become a perfect combination. -

Even in The Rock, I Could Grow.
- Even world is cruel, i could live lively -

Under The Shade
- Character is like a tree and Reputation like a shadow.
The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing. - Abraham Lincoln

Thought the concept of this coffee shop are open communal space and tropical. It has many discussion elements, as if it was designed for a sharing session. I really love how the architect creates the spaces purposively. It works! I heard many gossips, oops i mean a stories. Hahaha. Tropical concept is suitable too with the current climate. In my opinion, preserve the tree to make it shady is a great and smart act. The tree becomes a main actor. Find a green at Jakarta is like find an oasis at desert. If you ask me how is Kopi Manyar, it's shady in the space, shady in visual, shady on mind, and shady in the heart. Ah, but one thing that i little bit don't like, the organization. Yes, each spaces have their own ambiences, but the organization is like a maze. I don't know if it was the concept or not. I'm a little bit confused when i enter the coffee shop. But, it's still okay! :))

Me Before You
- Tomorrow You is the process's result of Me right now. Love who you are -

Stairway to Up

Open Lower Space
There's the other big open space below. Yes, there's no cover on the top. If it rain, bye. hahaha. But, that's the interesting one. It's perfect to have a coffee time in here after 3 p.m. ! It's so cool and shady. And . . Yes it's hot at noon. Hahaha. Commonly, this spot was used for take an instagramable pics. It's super famous! You can search at instagram with this hashtag #kopimanyar and mostly you will find this spot! LOL Yes, i couldn't avoid too if this spot is so gooooooood to take a great photo. Hahaha Take a look!

My Precious Girls
- We were in Brown - Black - Brown -

7 Years Class Photo
Yeah, this spot is big enough to have us in here. We looked same as 7 years ago at our class photo! LOL
Happy Face!
